FaridiaTech exists to give you a number you can trust, and to show you exactly how that number was produced, so you never have to take our word for it. These are the standards every calculator, tool and guide on this site is held to.
Our standards
Every calculator is built from the standard, textbook formula for its job, the same amortisation formula banks use for mortgages, the same body-mass-index definition health services use, the same compound-interest equation taught in schools. Four rules apply to everything we publish:
- Every tool is free. No account, no sign-up, no usage limit.
- Nothing runs on a server. Each tool works entirely in your browser; the figures you enter are never sent to us or stored anywhere.
- Every figure is traceable. If a number on this site cannot be traced back to the official source that published it, it does not belong here.
- The formula on the page is the single source of truth. What a tool page shows as its formula is what the tool actually computes.
How tools are tested
Each calculator page shows the formula it uses and a fully worked example with real numbers. If you follow the example by hand, you should land on the same figure the tool gives you, we publish the working precisely so you can check it rather than trust it. Before a tool goes live it is tested against independent reference calculations, and defaults are re-checked against the latest official releases on a regular basis, because tax rates, limits and thresholds change.
Mistakes are still possible, tax rates change, and every real-world job has variables a formula cannot see. Our results are estimates for planning, not professional advice.
Sources
Figures are taken from the official body that publishes them, for example, Freddie Mac for mortgage rates, the IRS for US tax, HUD for loan limits, and the Social Security Administration for benefit changes. Where a tool depends on rates or thresholds, it follows the current official release rather than last year’s table.
Corrections policy
If you spot an error, you can report it through the contact page or by email, corrections go to the top of the list. When an error is confirmed, the tool and its published formula are fixed, and guides that relied on the wrong figure are updated to match.
