About Us

FaridiaTech is run by Ateeq Fareedi. It started in 2026 as a small set of everyday calculators and has grown into 154 free tools covering money, health, home improvement, travel, taxes, PDF handling, cars, pets, cooking, careers and more — all in one place, all free, no account needed.

FaridiaTech builds free online calculators for the small sums people actually run: how much fencing a garden needs, what a roof will cost in shingles, what a restaurant bill comes to per person, and what a price looks like once sales tax or VAT is added.

The person behind FaridiaTech

My name is Ateeq Fareedi, and FaridiaTech is my project — I designed it, built it, and I still maintain every page on it myself. There is no team behind the curtain and no call centre somewhere. When you use a calculator here, you are using a tool I wrote, tested, and argued with until the numbers behaved. When you find a mistake — and on a site with this many figures, mistakes matter — the person who fixes it is me.

I started the site in 2026 after one too many evenings lost to calculator pages that demanded an account before showing an answer, buried the result under pop-ups, or quietly used last year’s tax table. The rules I set myself were simple: every tool free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded to a server, and every figure traceable to the official source that published it — Freddie Mac for mortgage rates, the IRS for tax, HUD for loan limits, the Social Security Administration for benefit changes. If a number on this site cannot be traced back to a source like that, it does not belong here.

Most weeks I am re-checking defaults against the latest official releases, expanding the guides, and building the tools readers ask for. The guide library grew out of the questions the calculators cannot answer on their own — a number is only useful when you understand what to do with it. If you spot an error, want a tool that does not exist yet, or just want to say the site helped, write to me at FaridiaTechOfficial@gmail.com. I read everything, and corrections go to the top of the list.

What we do

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. You type numbers in, the answer appears immediately, and nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored anywhere. There is no account to create and no usage limit.

How we check the maths

Each calculator page shows the formula it uses and a fully worked example with real numbers. If you follow the example by hand you should land on the same figure the tool gives you. We publish the working precisely so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Editorial standards

Every calculator is built from the standard, textbook formula for its job — the same amortisation formula banks use for mortgages, the same body-mass-index definition health services use, the same compound-interest equation taught in schools. Each tool page shows its formula and a worked example, so anyone can verify the output by hand.

Mistakes are still possible — tax rates change, and every real-world job has variables a formula cannot see. If you spot an error, you can report it through the contact page. The formula shown on each page is the single source of truth: it is what the tool computes.

Who it is for

Homeowners planning a project, tradespeople quoting a job, freelancers converting an hourly rate to a salary, and small businesses handling sales tax, GST, HST or VAT. Tools are grouped by region because units and tax rules differ: feet and dollars for the USA, pounds and 20% VAT for the UK, GST and HST by province for Canada, and 10% GST for Australia.

A word on accuracy

These calculators give estimates for planning. Material prices move, local tax rates differ from statewide rates, and every building job has waste and offcuts. Treat the results as a well-informed starting point, then confirm with a supplier, a contractor or a qualified professional before you commit money.
